SANDY AUTEN

Hospitality Director Sandy Auten was born and raised in Catawba County. She married Chuck in 1993 and worked in outside sales, prior to staying at home and raising her three sons Ben, Jake and Matt. Sandy and Chuck have been at Discovery since its beginning where they have been involved in a variety of ministries, including all of Discovery’s Capital Campaigns. Sandy has also participated in Bible Study Fellowship and has organized the Backpack Program at Claremont Elementary School. At Discovery, she organizes and plans all events, Sunday morning hospitality, and oversees the greeters, coffee bar, welcome team, and visitor tent. You can find her Sunday mornings running around with a smile on her face, making sure everything is running smoothly.

Her hobbies include walking, playing pickle ball, watching App Football, and spending time with family. Her desire for Discovery is that we would all use our gifts to glorify God.
