Parents Night Out
February 10, 2023
We love to care for your kids! To find out when we meet, check out the times below. We share with young children how much Jesus loves them, and we can't wait for you to join us.
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
(0 – 2 yrs.)
We share with young children how much Jesus loves them at this early age. The well-being and safety of every child is important to us. Our goal is for every parent to have the freedom to fully engage in their worship experience with total confidence that their child is being taken care of.
We love to share how much Jesus loves these young children. During church, the tadpoles have the opportunity to experience the love of our Father through play, Bible, stories, worship, and crafts.
(3 – 4 yrs.)
Our Puddle Jumper kids have the opportunity to experience the love of our Father through play, Bible, stories, worship, and crafts.
(Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
In elementary, we split classrooms K/1st, 2nd/3rd, and 4th/5th. In each class our kids enjoy a Bible based curriculum designed specifically for their age taught in person by Discovery Kids leaders! The lessons are created to give them the chance to learn and encounter the life-changing power of the Gospel.
We love to have new kids join us! You can either enter through the side door that is designated for Discovery Kids, where you will immediately be greeted at our Discovery Kids Welcome Desk. Or enter through the main entrance door, and just inform one of our friendly morning greeters that your child is new to Discovery. They will then lead you to our Discovery Kids Welcome Desk and introduce you to a Discovery Kids volunteer.
We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room while answering any questions you might have. We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birth dates, address, phone number, email, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs, etc.).
After your first initial visit, your children’s information is stored in our database. This way, you can easily check in your child in.
After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your phone number that you provided us will appear on the screen during service. We ask that you exit immediately and find the volunteer at our Children’s Welcome Desk who will direct you to your child’s room.
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” Our goal is to ensure that every child has a positive experience every week!
