LORI GRANGER

Lori was born and raised in Catawba County and graduated from NCSU with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering. After a short-lived marriage, Lori started fresh and began a 20+ year adventure working to help improve hospital performance, including an exciting move to Boston in 1997. Lori became a Stephen Minister and a Stephen Leader in her former church. This experience deepened Lori’s heart for caring and service. In 2019, she moved back to North Carolina and provided hands-on care for her parents whom she now looks forward to seeing again in heaven. Seeking a church family, Lori was attracted to Discovery’s high energy, music, and its robust Stephen Ministry program.

Lori’s new adventure with Discovery is to coordinate and integrate many aspects of intentional discipleship through connection groups and teams. Outside of Discovery, Lori enjoys farmers markets, festivals and nature in all its forms. She likes to walk, hike, read, and learn and practice natural approaches to wellness. Her desire for Discovery is that we all strive to fulfill Matthew 22:36-40 … to love God and love each other.
