We are so excited about the progress being made on our new worship center. God is doing big things here!
First, we want to thank you. We made it through our very first week of parking changes, and you showed so much patience, encouragement, and grace. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s to be expected with a new process. Because of your feedback, we’ve already made some improvements to keep things safe, efficient, and convenient for everyone.
One exciting change is that we’ve opened an additional lot for overflow parking. During the week, our construction crew will use it, but on Sundays it will be available to our church family as needed.
We’re so grateful to be working with a contractor who understands our mission and is committed to helping us make room for more people to hear God’s Word every week.
We’ve also made an important safety adjustment by removing the mesh on the loop-road fence to restore visibility, and we will be resetting that section of fence to make it even easier to see oncoming traffic. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.
As a reminder, please keep your handicap and family parking tags visible at all times. These spots are reserved for those who truly need them, and our parking team will be watching closely to protect them.
And one last note about parking. We love that Discovery is a place where people gather, connect, and grow. With parking a little tighter right now, one of the best ways you can serve others is by carpooling when possible and helping us make space after services so we can keep parking moving smoothly on Sundays. That simple act of thoughtfulness helps ensure everyone has the opportunity to join us in worship and community.
Thank you again for your prayers, patience, and encouragement. Every step forward brings us closer to a new home for worship that will serve generations to come.
