Work continues on the interconnect / loop road but it has been slowed by rain. It’s almost there and looking really great. I’m sure you noticed that it has been very wet this week. Our construction folks have been working when they can find a few hours of sunshine but that means the work they had hoped to have done this week was started but not yet completed. Even so, they were able to get one side of the new drive partially completed. They removed the old curbing and put in the new 33′ radius installed. Work on the other side and paving will be completed as soon as they can get the ground dry.
Construction on the storage building started on Wednesday. As you can see in the pictures below, they were able to complete the framing, roof, and much of the skin in one day. As of today (Thursday) they are still plugging away and I fully expect that the building will be fully assembled by the time you see it this Sunday. It will still take the month of June to complete the driveway, electrical, and inspections but the plan is to have an operational building available by 6/30/2025 so we can empty out the current brown barn and demo it by mid-July!
