In the coming weeks we will have lots of information starting to roll out to help everyone understand what is happening around the campus, what to expect, and how to best navigate the ministry spaces. I want group leaders to be one of the best informed and most reliable resources for building information so I will be providing you with weekly project updates. With that said, you won’t be the only information resource. Here are a few things you can expect to become available soon:
- (704) 800-4907: The Discovery Construction Hotline is available now. Call for up-to-date construction information. This will focus on information needed to move around the campus and things people may need to know before driving onto the campus on any given week. People can also leave voice messages or texts with questions or concerns.
- build@discoverychurchhickory.com: A mailbox for people to email their questions or concerns.
- This blog will communicate relevant information and pictures but it will also provide an archive of the project for us to look back at.
- A campus map that shows what is coming and current construction details. This will look similar to the “Stronghold Challenge” map hanging in the lobby. This will be hung on a wall where everyone can see it and it will display any significant ongoing activity or upcoming changes.
I am working with our project communications team to ensure we provide as much communication as people can handle. I want to make sure everyone is well informed that way they can be comfortable and excited about what God is doing in our faith community.
