5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

Consider This:

• Peter is making a very important point in this verse. When he says, “make every effort to add” what does he mean by the word “add?”
• Is he talking about adding to your salvation?
• Can you add anything to your salvation in order to make you “more saved?”
• Is this comforting to you?
